Painting (1927) by Joan Miró
George and I wandered around the Tate Modern today. I let him lead the way. I followed his gaze: wherever he looked I went. If he started at, reached out to or talked to a work of art we stood in front of it. Then I took a picture.

He really seemed to enjoy it. Much more than I was expecting. He was looking all over the place, but when he saw something he liked, he'd stare at it for quite a while. Which translates to around a minute, but that's a long time for a 9-month-old.
